I had gotten pretty far into the Doomslayer skin concepts but eventually, I decided to end it as I was getting too sidetracked with fan art and focused back on my main project. Then shortly after I watched a video by a YouTuber "Under The Mayo" discussing a concept for a new enemy within the game showcasing its visual look and in-game mechanics. I was instantly inspired and got right to work designing new enemy types that could work within Doom Eternal and along with non-canon lore attached just for fun. Each enemy I had in mind had to fit within an analogy I remember hearing from the game director Hugo Martin who stated "Each enemy in Doom Eternal is like a chess piece, they each have their own unique abilities and when you put them together in an arena, it turns into a ballet dance of violence and action." With this, I attempted to give each enemy a new mechanic that no other had within the game to add to the "chess pieces".
